  The Katy High School football team will take on Pasadena Memorial High School in the Region III semifinals this coming Saturday at Rice Stadium at 1 p.m.

• No Hitchcock thriller: Salado dominates Bulldogs
  NAVASOTA – It was billed as a shootout, but ended up a shutout as the fifth-ranked Salado Eagles advanced to the Division I-2A regional finals with a 49-0 win over Hitchcock on Saturday.
