Cayuga falls to Martin’s Mill BEN WHEELER — In a battle of highly-ranked Class A teams, Martin’s Mill clipped Cayuga 41-38 Tuesday night. Cayuga (0-1, 15-3) entered Tuesday ranked No. 1 in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches poll and Martin’s Mill (2-0, 16-6) is ranked fifth.

Lady Cats fall again to unstoppable Howe
The Howe Lady Bulldogs again showed why they deserve top spot in district when they disposed of the Tom Bean ladies 52-39 Tuesday night. Despite a late fourth quarter surge from the Lady Cats, the deficit was just too much to overcome. As for Howe, they remain undefeated in district play and seem to be well on their way to the playoffs.
