Chapel Hill varsity teams fall to Clarksville – The Clarksville Tigers struggled from the charity stripe Friday night, but they made them count with five free shots in the final 19 seconds to bury the Chapel Hill Red Devils, 56-49, in a battle of undefeated teams in District 15-2A at Clarence Nix Gym. “It was a big win playing short-handed (their second-leading scoring did not play due to disciplinary reasons),” said Clarksville head coach Jimmy Wallace. “The kids fought and never gave up.”

Tigers get road win – Coach Jonathan Hopkins and the Mount Pleasant Tigers will enjoy Christmas little bit more next week. They ended their two game road skid Friday night with a 68-63 win at Denison. The Tigers withstood a 30 point performance by the Yellowjackets’ T. J. Taylor.
